The Philip Barbour Band maintains an active schedule of parades, football games, and field show competitions from August to November of each year performing throughout the state of West Virginia, as well as Pennsylvania and Maryland. In the spring, "The Pride of Barbour County" takes their sound to other venues in areas such as New York City, Canada, The Bahamas, and Walt Disney World.
Highlights of the band year always include the Region 8 Band Festival and the Twirler for a Day event, as the Philip Barbour Band gets to extend that trademark Barbour County hospitality to area students, directors, bands, and families.
